My New Journey!

Good afternoon!
Its been quite a while since my last update, and I know that no one checks this anymore because I NEVER post! I am going to try to use this as my personal journey for my attempt at Weight Watchers. I started WW back on Friday, the 13th and am on my 4th day. Its going well so far, I have been tracking everything that I have been eating, and even working out!

I have tried WW once or twice before, but always struggled with the recipe builder portion of this plan. Back when I had done this plan before, I never knew how to submit my recipe to my tracker and track my points. This time around I have decided that I was going to take the time and figure it out once and for all! I am excited to say that I have won this battle! I now have the ability to figure out all of the new recipes I want to try and configure their PointsPlus values! Yay!

I have been walking the past three nights, 25 minute walks at 3.0 mph. I am going to be increasing this next week to 30 minutes and do my increase in 5 minute intervals. When I get to 35 minutes, I am going to increase my speed by a few notches! Hopefully this will break my bad habit of being lazy, and develop a NO EXCUSES mentality!

Earlier in 2011 I decided that this was going to be the summer that we go to Walt Disney World in Florida. I had the embarassing experience of going to Six Flags a few years ago with my niece and NeeNee (my 5 year old) and got denied admission to a ride that NeeNee wanted to go on. I was too big for the seatbelt to shut properly. My brother had to ride it with her and I was very disappointed in myself. So, here we are, a few years later, and I am going to commit to this and finally shed some weight so when I do go to Disney this summer, there wont be ONE RIDE THAT I CANT RIDE DUE TO MY WEIGHT! I am VERY excited about this! A few times during my workout, I have wanted to just stop and go home back to the comfort of my couch, and all I thought about was Disney and having to look at NeeNee and tell her that I cant ride with her because of my size. NO MORE! Yay!!! I am so excited!

Have a wonderful week! My first weigh in date is Friday, and I am very excited! I hope that I have a loss of at LEAST 2lbs, but if not, I am NOT AND WILL NOT be discouraged! I am going to keep going! :)
